National Train-the-Trainers Workshop in Spain

On the 14th and 15th of June 2024, Asociación Dalhena held the national train-the-trainer workshop in Granada, Spain with the participation of 15 youth trainers. The workshop focused on equipping trainers with the knowledge and tools necessary to support the social inclusion of young people from migrant backgrounds, specifically by promoting entrepreneurial initiatives related to the trade of natural products.

The primary goal of the workshops was to enable youth trainers to guide and mentor migrant youth in launching small-scale business ventures centered around natural goods. By the end of the sessions, participants were expected to have developed a solid understanding of how to foster entrepreneurship among vulnerable populations and how to apply this knowledge in their local communities.

The trainers who attended the event appreciated the focus on practical skills, digital tools, and strategies for enhancing local trade. The interactive nature of the training sessions allowed them to engage deeply with the materials and build networks to support entrepreneurial activities among migrant youth.
